We also advise parents to restrict their child’s consumption of juice and other sugary foods and to never put a baby to sleep with a bottle.

It is important to be gentle when disclosing your baby to dental hygiene. Use a soft-bristled baby toothbrush along with water, to clean the area. Toothpaste is not recommended for children under the age of 2. When you’re finished, start with a paste designed especially for toddlers and use only a rice-sized portion.
